The owner is also a chef who has stipulations regarding his cooking which means he has his work cut out for him. However, they manage to meet these challenges and overcome them to finally give the family their dream home.
The second season begins with two hired cops who lived in a cramped trailer on rural land that they were trying to clean up themselves. Brian and Mika then take over the heavy equipment and build this couple’s dream home so they can plan their wedding. In another episode, we see a couple who bought their dream property years ago, but are now living with their mother due to financial setbacks. The family is ready to build their own home, but Brian and Mika must find a way to combine her understated style with her over-the-top taste. In another thrilling episode, a couple finally decides they need to build a bigger house, after trying to fit their large blended family into a small two-bedroom house.
Brian and Mika step in to help with the tough design choices to define this couple’s style and start building. Later, we see a family of four who have lived in six homes for the past ten years while trying to find their perfect fit. Brian and Mika help them build a house they think is right, however, when their plans fail, they have to double down to not disappoint. These are just a few examples of the kind of interesting episodes viewers can watch on the show. It really is a satisfying sight and an absolute pleasure to watch. 100 Day Dream Home Filming Locations
100 Day Dream Home is filmed in Tampa, Florida, where the husband and wife team is from. The show is filmed in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Plant City, Apollo Beach, Riverview, downtown Tampa, and St. Petersburg are some of the places locals may recognize. Mika and Brian demolished an old house in Shore Acres and they also worked on houses in Pinellas Park, Seminole Heights and Ruskin. Scenes featured in 100 Day Dream Home are also filmed at Parkesdale Farm in Plant City. Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Hillsborough River State Park, and Tampa Museum of Art, among others, are other local landmarks featured in the series. The show also features local businesses, which is one of the great things about this series.
