Pieces Of Her is an upcoming American streaming thriller series, which was created by Charlotte Stoudt. The show is based on the eponymous 2018 novel by Karin Slaughter. Pieces Of Her centers on Andrea, who gets caught in a fatal shootout at a local restaurant. She then witnesses her mother, Laura, violently eliminating the threat with ease moments later. Her perspective on their relationship takes a new turn as she begins to unravel her mother’s actions that day. She is then forced to flee, and soon after, figures from her mother’s past reappear. During the trip, she tries to find out the truth.

It was announced that Netflix had given the production a series order for an eight-episode first season on February 5, 2019. The show was created and executive produced by Lesli Linka Glatter, Charlotte Stoudt, and Bruna Papandrea. The production companies involved in the series are Made Up Stories and Endeavor Content.

When that Saturday afternoon trip to the mall with her mother suddenly explodes into violence, the drifting young woman’s conception of her mother will be changed forever. She uncovers the secrets of her mother’s childhood and begins to piece together the truth about her previous identity on this journey when she is forced to flee after figures from her mother’s past begin to resurface. Judging from what we know of the plot so far, it’s safe to say that this new series of thrillers will definitely be worth watching, especially if you’re a fan of this particular genre of shows. We hope the series will be as successful as the book and truly live up to the hype it has received so far, even before its release.
