When it comes to superhero movies, Marvel Cinematic Universe is the OG! From Avengers to Eternals, the studio has done a mind-boggling job of keeping all their fans engaged with their movies. Well, Sony Pictures and Marvel’s Spider-Man series starring Tom Holland was an absolute sight to behold. However, did you know that Tom was once beaten by his stuntman?

Sony Pictures and Marvel managed to win millions of hearts around the world with their recent release, Spider-Man: No Way Home. The movie still works wonders at the box office!

So, superhero movies require the protagonists to do a lot of action-packed stunts, and these stunts have often injured the actors. The same thing happened to Tom Holland while shooting for action scenes for his movie Spider-Man: Homecoming.

During his earlier conversation with GQ, Tom Holland had once revealed that while filming a scene for Spider-Man: Homecoming, one of his stuntmen ended up punching him in the face. However, the actor also revealed that the accident was entirely his fault.

Tom said, “Yeah, I got punched in the face. I had to dodge it and I just didn’t see it coming. [The stuntman] broke me on the head. He had a huge glove in his hand, a big metal fist-like thing, and he hit me in the face so hard, like you wouldn’t believe it. But it looks great! I hope they use it. It’s one of those things where you get up and get mad, like, ‘What the hell, man? You hit me on the head!’ Then you realize it’s all your fault.”

The actor later revealed that the reason for the accident during the action sequence was all due to his Spider-Man costume, as it ended up obstructing his view, preventing him from dodging the blow.

Oops, sounds like that would have hurt really bad!

Meanwhile, on a professional level, Tom Holland was recently featured in his latest release Spiderman: No Way Home. The film was a huge blockbuster at the box office, all thanks to Sony and Marvel’s great idea of enlisting Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire to play their respective Spider-Man in the film. The film also starred Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds.
