Arguments and battles between b-town stars are not new and one or the other stars make news for their battle. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is known for helping his fellow actors and producer by doing a cameo in their films so that the project gets more attention. Likewise, the superstar agreed to star in a song with Akshay Kumar in the title track of Fugly. However, things started to heat up when the Dabangg star was seen walking out of the sets while the Khiladi actor had more screen time in the song.
The movie is a comedy thriller released in the year 2014. The movie features Jimmy Sheirgill as one of the lead actors along with the debut of 4 young actors such as Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh, Arfi Lamba and Kiara Advani.
According to Mumbai Mirror reports, the makers of Fugly brought in Salman Khan to record the title track of the song with producer Akshay Kumar and singer/rapper Honey Singh. However, when the superstar was recording the song, he was seen storming out of the sets after getting mad at the Sooryavanshi star.
According to sources present in the sets, they claimed that Salman Khan was upset because Akshay Kumar had more screen time than he had in the Fugly title song. Shortly after the shoot starter, the bhaijaan of Bollywood realized that Akshay was more in the spotlight.
An insider told the news portal: “Sallu was not aware of the details of the song and was informed when he arrived on set. Since Akshay had more screen time in the song, he coolly walked away after recording the first stanza of the number, to everyone’s shock.”
Director Kabir Sadanand reportedly tried his best to convince Salman Khan, but nothing worked and the actor refused to record the song.
The source added: “There is no verbal exchange between the two now as Salman did not record the entire song in the first place. They somehow managed to wrap it up with Akshay Kumar and the rest of the actors.”
