Twitter is now rolling out pinned DMs, the company announced on Thursday† The feature was previously only available to Twitter Blue subscribers, but is now available to everyone on Android, iOS, and the web.
The feature doesn’t appear to be fully rolled out yet. I can access it in the iOS app, but not in the Twitter web app. In the iOS app, you can swipe to the side in a conversation to reveal a pin, and tapping that will move the conversation to a new “Locked Conversations” section at the top of your DM inbox.
Keep your favorite DM convos easily accessible by pinning them! You can now pin up to six conversations that will remain at the top of your DM inbox.

Pins can be a useful way to keep a handful of conversations easily accessible, although I can see how some people might be disappointed to know that you can only keep six at the top of the list.
With pins rolling out more widely, there are currently two features under Twitter Blue’s exclusive Labs label: longer video uploads and NFT profile photos. To try it out now, you’ll need to subscribe to Twitter Blue, which costs $2.99 a month in the US (and varies depending on where you’re located).
