Actress Smita Bansal is very excited to share screen space with her daughters in the YouTube comedy series ‘Smitasha’. The show brought some lively moments between mother and daughters.
The entire series was directed and written by Mitu. Smita says she’s always appreciated Mitu’s creative instincts.
“When she came up with the idea to make Smitasha, I was very excited. I trust Mitu and have always liked her job. It was a great collaboration and we enjoyed making this series. My daughters and I had a nice time shooting it. Smitasha’s concept is the daily affair that me and my daughters were involved in. It’s been a wonderful journey, also we both learned so much while working on it,” said Smita Bansal, who is known for shows like ‘Balika Vadhu’, ‘Tulsi, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Nach Baliye 5’ and many more Lake .
Smita Bansal is the mother of two daughters, Stasha Mohla, 18, and Anaagha Mohla, 9.
“Until they start shooting with me, I’m fine. Mitu is aware of the fact that Smitasha is contained in an extremely homely space and that very few people and units are involved. The script is written by Mitu herself and is very family oriented. I’ll be fine until I know what my daughters are doing,” adds Smita Bansal.
About the best compliment she’s received for ‘Smitasha’ so far, Smita says: “When people see Smitasha, the first thing I get here is that my daughters are better than me. I think that’s the best compliment for a mother. I’m proud of them.”
The series will be streamed on Positive Thinkerz’s YouTube channel.
