Mi Jo is enjoying her 40th birthday with her longtime friends Chan Young and Joohee. In addition, she will soon take a one-year break to study abroad and enjoy life. So far, we have seen that Cha MI Jo, Chan Young, and Jang Joohee met when they were 18 years old. Since then, they have kept their tradition of eating tteokbokki. When they started this tradition, they never thought they would still be doing it after 20 years. As their 40s quickly approach, they spend their time together spending their hard-earned money on soju and massages. It’s hard for people to understand them, but they’re very clear about their wedding plans. Since they don’t plan to get married anytime soon, they avoid events like weddings and baby showers. However, they attend funerals due to their philosophy that death is inevitable.
Mi Jo is a renowned dermatologist and director of Gangnam Clinic. He is a free soul who does not limit himself to responsibilities and rules. When Chan Mi Hyun confronts her about being replaced as director, Mi Jo seems unfazed by the decision. Instead, she says she will take a year off to study abroad. This does not make Mi Hyun happy and she threatens Mi Jo to tell their father about the loan she took out from her sister to open the clinic. Even then, without a line of concern, Mi Jo tells her sister to keep the clinic and pay her monthly.

Mi Jo ends up at the police station
After Mi Jo’s sister left some women to come to the clinic and start fussing. One of the women accuses Mi Jo of being her husband’s mistress and their argument turns into a physical fight. As Chan Young and Joohee try to stop the fight, they also get involved. Eventually, everyone ends up at the police station. As they wait to make their statement, they recall an incident from their past. In high school, Mi Jo ran away from home in search of her biological mother. During her journey, she meets Chan Young and Joohee who help her in her quest. At the police station, we also find out that Chan Young is having an affair with a married man.
What to expect in the next episode
As Mi Jo prepares to leave for a year abroad, she must appoint a new director for the clinic. She never expected Seon Woo to be the person she would entrust her clinic to. When she tells Chan Young this, she is very happy for her and says that it is a perfect start for a relationship. Also, Mi Jo finds out that Chan Young is sick. Will this affect his plans to go abroad?
