The actress rose to fame after working on several movies and series, but nothing matched her 90s sitcom, Friends. Cox played the part of Monica Geller and won the hearts of millions of fans around the world after playing the part of the New York-based chef with OCD.
However, it’s not always good to be in the spotlight all the time. Courteney Cox has been open about getting cosmetic surgeries, but now the actress has shared that her obsession with the injections has become too much. Speaking to The Sunday Times, the actress said all the surgeries and needles she injected made her look “very strange.”
“There was a time when you said, ‘Oh, I’m changing. I look older.’ And I tried to chase that [youthfulness] for years,” says Courteney Cox. “And I didn’t realize that, oh s**t, I actually look really weird doing injections and doing things to my face that I would never do now,” she continued. It is a common practice for celebrities, usually actresses, to undergo cosmetic surgery.
Katy Perry, Khloe Kardashian, Britney Spears, Cardi B, Chrissy Teigen, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kylie Jenner and many others have admitted to undergoing such surgeries. However, many have denied getting them and have spoken out against cosmetic injectables, including Jennifer Lopez, Cox’s Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Meryl Streep and many more.
While talking about Courteney Cox, the actress recently shared how it felt to be reuniting with the Friends cast for the reunion that took place last year. Courteney said it was emotional and that she loved her co-stars.
