The notorious, self-proclaimed critic of Bollywood, Kamaal R Khan, aka KRK, is known for causing huge controversy in the B-town industry through his controversial tweets on Twitter. The actor turned self-proclaimed critic usually uses his Twitter handle to make unwanted digs at famous celebrities. From Salman Khan to Kangana Ranaut, Kamaal always gets in trouble with his digs.

For the inexperienced, KRK made its Bollywood debut with its 2008 film Deshdrohi. However, the film was banned in Maharashtra due to concerns over the riot. The actor is known for his stint as a participant in Bigg Boss season 3. Kamaal was also featured in Mohit Suri’s 2014 release Ek Villain.

After trying his luck in Bollywood, the actor called himself a critic and writes reviews about films. From criticizing movies, KRK then went on to troll the B-town stars. This habit of his had gotten him into big trouble with celebrities. However, he still never misses a chance to beat the members of the industry.

Now KRK is making headlines again for yet another controversial statement he has made. This time, the would-be critic took aim at the Bollywood industry as a whole, comparing it to Allu Arjun’s South Indian blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. KRK’s recent tweet read “slap on the face of Bollywood stars”. On his Twitter post, he wrote: “Film #Pushpa has made about ₹100Cr business on the Hindi circuit. Huge congratulations to @alluarjun for such an amazing performance! It’s a slap in the face to Bollywood stars (sic) .”

Apart from this, Kamaal R Khan added another tweet that read: “Film #Pushpa has become a gold mine for Hindi circuit distributor Manish!” He continued his statement and also said that even the biggest Bollywood stars are struggling to earn Rs 25 crore from their film but a Telugu dub film managed to earn Rs 100 crore in Hindi cinema. According to him, the reason behind this is that people “are going to hate the Bollywood industry”.

Speaking of Pushpa: The Rise, the movie revolves around a character named Pushpa, a sandalwood smuggler. The film stars Allu Arjun along with Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. On the other hand, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ajay and Ajay Ghosh will appear as supporting characters. The film was directed by Sukumar and was released on December 17, 2021.
