Shark Tank India gets mostly positive response due to its unique content. However, there are netizens who still criticize the show for various reasons. Meanwhile, one of the sharks, Lenskart co-founder Peyush Bansal, has been summoned by Priyanjit Ghosh, co-founder of an AI-based digital patient communication platform. The businessman went looking for Bansal after claiming that no artificial intelligence platform can accurately detect the cataract.
The corporate reality show is currently in its last week and the last episode of the first season will air on Friday. Besides the CEO of Lenskart, the other sharks are Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal, Ghazal Alagh, Ashneer Grover, Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta.
During one of the previous episodes, while speaking to the entrepreneur of another AI company, Peyush Bansal said: “Cataract India mei bohot badi problem hai but globally koi AI ye abhi tak detects nahi kar pata hai accurately.” However, Priyanjit Ghosh proved him wrong when he shared that his company has solved the problem. Find out how.
Commenting on Peyush Bansal, Priyanjit Ghosh wrote on LinkedIn: “We solved cataract screening using ‘AI’ from smartphone images only with 91% accuracy across over 10,000 screenings done to date!”
Ghosh further wrote: “I am not a participant in Shark Tank India. But have worked extensively on cataract screening and solved it using AI from India with minimal resources to help elderly Indian citizens unable to travel to hospitals for screening. Affordable! Simply using a smartphone at home!! No additional device needed. Yes, it’s unbelievable. But it’s done.”
In the latest episode, Peyush Bansal, co-founder of Lenskart, will pitch his company as a fun activity, while other sharks Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal, Ghazal Alagh, Ashneer Grover, Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta will give their feedback. The promo for the same was recently shared and netizens appreciate it.
