The makers of director Shankar Shanmugham’s upcoming film starring Ram Charan have asked those who post photos and videos of the shooting of the film on social media not to do so and warned that the unit’s anti-piracy team would take action against the posting of unauthorized content.

Sri Venkateswara Creations, the production house producing Shankar’s film, said on Twitter: “We request that everyone cooperate with the team and report any piracy links to [email protected]

It also posted a message that read: “The shooting of RC15/SVC50 will take place in open areas with a large audience, according to the requirements of the film. We ask everyone to exercise restraint and avoid posting illegally captured photos and videos Our anti-piracy team will take action against IDs posting the unauthorized content.”

The move comes as no surprise as director Shankar is known for always taking adequate steps to ensure his movie’s content is protected, both during filming and after release.

Shankar’s self-titled film, tentatively referred to by some as RC15 and others by SVC50, has Kiara Advani as the female lead. Actors Advani, Jayaram, Anjali, Sunil, Srikanth and Naveen Chandra are also part of this big-budget film, which is being made in multiple languages.

SS Thaman is scoring the music for Shankar’s upcoming movie, in which Tirru turns on the camera.
