Now that the booking for Ajith Kumar’s Valimai has started, Book My Show has gained over 2 million likes, the highest for any movie in the world. The buzz around the film seems to be good too. Presale tickets for the action thriller have started across the country. Based on this, the film is expected to have a huge opening on Friday as it will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
Recently, Kartikeya Gummakonda opened up about working with the Southern superstar in the film. He told Indian Express: “I learned so many things from Ajith, sir. During the shoot, he was injured in a bicycle stunt once. But he didn’t talk about it and continued shooting because of the dates and production costs. For a actor like me it’s an inspiration and a lesson on how an actor should be professional.”
When asked about the meaning of the Ajith Kumar starrer, Kartikeya said, “Valimai is a Tamil word. Valimai means mental strength. Logically, the Telugu version should have a Telugu title. But even before the announcement about the Telugu release, the word Valimai became so popular. The Telugu public was also connected with the title even though they didn’t know the meaning.”
