The film is written by Joie Botkin and Shawn Christian and has a great backdrop.

The movie has everything it takes to make a typical Hallmark movie with its stunning backdrop, heartwarming storyline, and charming characters.

The story of Love In The Sun revolves around a dating app creator named Alana, who finds her views on love challenged when she returns home and reconnects with her high school sweetheart. The movie has all the makings of a Hallmark movie, the boy proposes to the girl, and she says yes. The girl returns to her hometown, meets her ex-boyfriend and falls in love with him again. After that girl’s current fiancé causes some complications or conflict, which makes the story a bit more interesting, but the conflict is resolved and everyone lives happily ever after. The film did not receive positive reviews from critics or viewers, and everyone who watched the film agreed that aside from the beautiful backdrop, it is, in general, a bad film.
That said, the movie gives you exactly what you expect. Of course, some Hallmark movies are better than others. However, they all have the same general idea and storyline. It’s meant to be an entertaining movie that you’d watch with your family on a cozy movie night, and the movie delivers just that. It’s a soothing and wholesome film that should be watched on a quiet, relaxing night. Emeraude Toubia is particularly a pleasure to watch, even if her acting abilities haven’t been used to their full potential. Nonetheless, she comes across as the beautiful, graceful, and above all kind person her character is meant to be. In our opinion, the film is good enough for a satisfying single watch.

Where is “Love in the Sun” filmed?
The film is set in Florida, where Alana’s hometown is and where she returns after getting engaged. Filming for several scenes of Love In The Sun took place at Fort De Soto Park in St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg is located in Pinellas County and is also known as Sunny Florida. Emeraude Toubia shared a photo from the beach on her social media page, with the caption “Paradise on set”. And the place is indeed a paradise. The film’s cast and crew traveled to Florida to shoot the film, which was originally slated to shoot in Hawaii. Now, with no disrespect to Florida, but purely from the perspective of a viewer watching a TV show or movie shot in Hawaii, this has nothing to do with “The Aloha State.”
However, after watching Love In The Sun, we now know that Florida is beautiful too. It is home to the Miami metropolitan area and is the third most populous state in the United States. Some of the things that corresponded to a certain extent with the tax benefits were the benefit of the atmosphere and the infrastructure as well as the workforce. This is why Florida was chosen as the filming location by the location guides. Safety Harbor, located in Pinellas County, just a twenty to thirty minute drive from St. Petersburg, also served as a filming location for a few scenes in the film. Treasure Land on famous Sunset Beach in Pinellas County was also the filming location for some scenes in the film. This particular beach is known to host the LGTBQI+ community.
