Shuchiin Academy is a school for Japan’s crème de la crème with elites who send their children there. In high school, the student council is led by Miyuki Shirogane as president and Kaguya Shinomiya as vice president. Kaguya is the perfect daughter of the wealthy Shinomiya family with many achievements. Miyuki, on the other hand, is an excellent student. His dedication to his education is scary. The two make the perfect match, a sentiment shared by other students at their school. Now, although the two love each other, they are both too proud to confess their love or even ask the other out on a date. They would much rather invent various schemes to force the other to confess. Thus stands the battlefield of love.
