Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has been going through a rough time since he was accused of domestic violence by Amber Heard. The actor was fired from the latest Fantastic Beasts movie after he lost the defamation charge brought against a leading British publication.
As he was embroiled in the controversy, he was largely off social media. After nearly 11 months, the Pirates Of The Caribbean star shared a photo on Instagram and over a million people, including Salma Hayek, liked his post.
Johnny Depp shared a photo of him writing ‘Never Fear Truth’. In the photo he is busy painting with a marker and showing off his tattoo on his arms. Take a look at the image below:
Recently, Johnny Depp has been cast as the controversial French King Louis XV. While not many details have been revealed yet, the film will be directed by French filmmaker Maiwenn and shooting will begin this summer. The filmmaker also plays the last mistress of the monarch, Jeanne du Barry, Variety reports.
The film will be shot over the course of three months at several Paris landmarks, including the Palace of Versailles. King Louis XV is the second longest reigning French monarch in history. He became popular among his constituents during the War of the Austrian Succession.
Johnny Depp was last seen in the 2020 film Minamata, in which he played the role of photojournalist W. Eugene Smith. He is currently filming the animated miniseries Puffins.
