If there’s one show that’s been making headlines since its premiere, it’s Euphoria. From the storyline to dialogues to cinematography, everything about this show is simply stunning. The cast includes some of the best Gen Z actors including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi to name a few. In a recent interview, Sydney started doing n*de scenes in the show and how she’s proud of herself for bringing out the character of Cassie on the HBO show.

Euphoria is the story of a drug-addicted teenager named Rue, played by Zendaya and how she copes with her mental struggles and relationships and friendships with her peers in life. Sydney happens to be an integral part of the show and her character ‘Cassie’ transition from Season 1 to Season 2 is commendable.

In a recent interview with The Independent, Sydney Sweeney started doing n*th scenes in Euphoria and how creator Sam Levinson cut a few topless scenes from ‘Cassie’ when she asked him to.

Sydney Sweeney said: “There are times when… [my character] Cassie would be shirtless and I’d say to Sam, “I don’t think that’s really necessary here.”

The 24-year-old revealed whether the creator made her feel comfortable on the sets, saying: “I never felt like Sam was pushing me or trying to get a scene on an HBO show. When I didn’t want to, he has he didn’t make me.”

Not only that, there was also an intimacy coordinator on Euphoria’s sets who advocated for her during the delicate scenes.

Sydney Sweeney added: “I’ve had experiences where I want to go home and scrub myself all raw because I feel disgusting. I didn’t feel comfortable with my castmate or the crew, and I just didn’t feel like my character would do it.”

However, the Euphoria actress hopes the scenes don’t overshadow her acting skills because if you ask us, she’s brilliant at her job.

Concluding the conversation, Syndey said: “I am very proud of my work in ‘Euphoria.’ I thought it was a great performance. But nobody talks about it because I’m screwed. I’m doing ‘The White Lotus’ and suddenly the critics are paying attention. People love me. They go, ‘Oh my god, what is she doing now?’ I thought, ‘Didn’t you see that in ‘Euphoria’? Didn’t you see that in “The Handmaid’s Tale”?’”

We are in awe of your incredible work in Euphoria, Sydney. Well done!
