Daniel Radcliffe once revealed that he hadn’t spoken to Emma Watson for days after getting into an argument on the sets of Harry Potter. Daniel and Emma developed a brother-sister-like relationship over the years they filmed the franchise. Recently, the cast and crew of the film series celebrated 20 years since the first film came out.
The reunion special was streamed online and brought back many old memories for the artists and fans alike. Watson, Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, the iconic trio, sat down and reminisced about the old days on the sets and revealed that they created a strong bond.
Despite this, there were times when the cast argued amongst themselves, such as when Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe fought and then went without talking for days. In 2012, the Harry Potter actor spoke to Radio Times and said he and Emma would have many heated discussions during the filming of the movies.
“Oh God. We used to argue about everything. Faith. Politics. I remember one of the big fights we had about the fourth movie – we didn’t speak for a few days – was about… She was arguing about the Latin language, that nobody knows what it sounds like, what a Latin accent should be. And I thought, ‘Yeah, but it’s still widely spoken in the Catholic Church,’ said Daniel Radcliffe, talking about arguing with Emma Watson on the sets of Harry Potter.
“Such a nasty argument, looking back, and it got completely out of hand. She was furious; I was furious. I would definitely advise anyone, if you are going to argue with her, know what you are talking about,” added Daniel No matter how much the two fought, they remained good friends.
Currently, Daniel Radcliffe is working on the upcoming Roku biopic titled WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, in which he will take on the role of American singer Weird Al Yankovic. Meanwhile, before the Harry Potter reunion, Emma Watson was last seen in 2019’s Little Women as she continued her activism.
