(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon has officially tested positive for COVID-19. (G)I-DLE’s agency Cube Entertainment revealed that the K-pop idols passed the PCR test yesterday, and today the results confirmed that the girl group member had received a diagnosis of COVID-19. Cube Entertainment has revealed that K-pop female idol Miyeon has taken two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and has currently halted all activities.
The entertainment agency revealed that the K-pop idol is following all the rules set by the health authorities and also taking further steps to recover. Miyeon and the other (G)I-DLE members were gearing up for their upcoming comeback, which we hope won’t be delayed any longer.
What did Miyeon do before being diagnosed with COVID-19?
(G)I-DLE fans have been facing a content drought from the girl group since the former Soojin was caught up in bullying allegations. Since the company unfairly kicked her out, there was no news of the voice queens returning. Fans breathed a sigh of relief when CUBE Entertainment recently announced that the group will finally be returning in March. She and the other members had been caught up in Solo’s activities so far. Her colleague Soyeon had been a mentor in the survival program, My Teenage Girl, while Yuqi, Shuhua, and Minnie had continued activities in their home countries.
Miyeon recently sang an OST for Girls Day Heri’s Kdrama Moonshine and even sat down to talk about it. Find out what the K-pop idol had to say here. She could not attend this episode of M Countdown due to a diagnosis of COVID-19. Speaking of Miyeon as an MC on M Countdown, she was the first female MC on the show after nine whole years. In October, K-pop female idol Miyeon also released a collaboration single with Raiden. We could go on and on about everything Miyeon has done so far. I wish Miyeon a speedy recovery!
