Brand reputation rankings are determined by participation (brands the celebrity has participated in/product consumption), media (value of media marketing), communication (ability to communicate with the public), and community (the perception that has the community/social marketing value) of a K-pop idol. And the results are published by the Korean Business Research Institute. Now that we are done talking about the brand reputation ranking and the charm of K-pop male idols, let’s start with the K-pop idols who had topped the brand reputation ranking of members of the February boy band!
BTS’s Jimin topped the February boy group member brand reputation rankings. This month, Jimin made headlines around the world as he caught COVID-19 and even underwent surgery, so naturally fans made sure to support Jimin and shower him with love. The whole internet was filled with get well wishes for the lead dancer and lead singer of BTS. On top of that, the K-pop male idol’s brand reputation index was 7,258,554 in total with a positive reaction of 85.61%. With that, Jimin re-entered the list of the best in Brand Reputation Ranking and once again proved that he has the whole world around his little fingers.
2. Kang Daniel
Kang Daniel is one hell of a successful person. After being a member of the most popular boy group Wanna One, Kang Daniel went on to an amazing solo career and even started his own business! Fun fact: Former Gfriend member Yuju has signed an exclusive contract with his company. Kang Daniel was also talked about because of his Kdrama Rookie Cops alongside Chae Soo Bin. I guess Kang Daniel has finally met the real people to make his kdrama debut! For those who don’t know, the soloist had turned down offers for Kdramas and wanted to work with people he felt comfortable with.
3. Lee Junho
Meet the king, Lee Jun Ho. The name Lee Junho has been trending around the world ever since the 2PM member starred in the hit historical drama The Red Sleeve Cuff. Ever since he starred as the king in Kdrama alongside Lee Se Young, topping the brand reputation chart has been an easy walk for him.
