Then in April 5738 AD, a 15-year-old prodigy scientist, Senku Ishigami, is awakened to investigate the reason for this petrification. Over the next six months, he researches everything about the humans who turned to stone and managed to revive his friend Taiji Oki. Because of this, Senku learns that rebirth is possible with nitric acid.

With this information, the two develop a compound, Revival Fluid, to instantly revive people. They revive Tsukasa Shishiō, a famous martial artist, and Yuzuriha Ogawa, their classmate. Senku shares with them his dream of rebuilding the ancient human society with an emphasis on science. However, this is where it goes wrong. Tsukasa Shishiō opposes his idea and wants to build a new human civilization based on power and strength. He believed that the old world was defiled and should not be brought back. He is only one of the first obstacles on Senku’s path to creating a realm of science in this world.
