Boruto Chapter 67 Spoilers and Leaks

Chapter 67 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generation is titled “Rift”. The chapter continues where the previous one left off, with Boruto lying on the ground, unconscious. Naruto is clearly traumatized upon seeing his son’s downfall. Meanwhile, Ada warns Code not to harm Kawaki just because he killed Boruto. Boruto was supposed to be Code’s living sacrifice, but with Kawaki killing him, he lost a huge asset. Ignoring Ada’s warnings, he attacks Kawaki and a heated battle erupts between the two. Kawaki manages to overpower his opponent, and the latter somehow braces himself. Shikamaru is freed and goes to console a grieving Naruto, where he sees a huge hole in Boruto’s chest. He tries to console the Hokage but ends up losing patience and scolds him.

At the same time, the battle between Kawaki and Code escalates, with the former claiming that he will eliminate anyone who tries to harm Naruto. The code suddenly lets out an explosion and Kawaki takes full damage, shocking everyone in the scene. It turns out that Code had actually teleported Daemon through a claw mark to attack Kawaki. The explosion had sent Kawaki flying, and he was lying unconscious. Code sends Daemon back to Ada, who warns him to hurt Kawaki again. Code remarks that he needs to release his Limiters to fight Kawaki. Thinking so, he leaves the battlefield by a claw mark.

Will Boruto return?

Seeing Code disappear, Shikamaru is distressed, but is more concerned about Naruto and Kawaki’s situation. As someone who had killed his comrade, Kawaki will be given a punishment. Naruto is in conflict with Kawaki, and Shikamaru urges him to realize that he has just killed Boruto. To everyone’s surprise, Boruto wakes up. Naruto is overwhelmed. Instead of the big wound on his link, he has the mark of Karma.

Momoshiki appears and announces that he saved Boruto since he is his vessel. In a flashback sequence, it is revealed that Boruto had injured his heart and lungs and also lost a lot of blood. To save him, Momoshiki created new cell tissues. However, he also warns Boruto that he is now a full Otsutsuki, which also means he is ready to become a living sacrifice. The code will come back for him.

Before Momoshiki disappears, he reveals that something bigger is about to happen soon.

Meanwhile, Ada and Code discuss finding Amado as only he can remove Code’s Limiters. Without claw marks inside the city, it would be difficult. The chapter ends with Code claiming that he has already made some preparations.
