
The news was confirmed by Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, director of CritiCare Hospital, said he died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). The family of the veteran singers also shared an official statement that the funeral will take place tomorrow after the arrival of his son Bappa from LA.
According to the official statement from the hospital, Bappi Lahiri was in the hospital for 29 days. He recovered well and was discharged home on February 15. However, after a day at home, his health deteriorated again. He was returned to Criticare Hospital in critical condition and succumbed to his illness around 11:45 PM. Now a number of celebrities from the Bollywood and television industries have paid their respects.
