
While Ranveer Singh was crowned Best Actor for his role as Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan’s 83, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani won the critics’ awards for their stellar portrayal in Shershaah. This biographical war film by Vishnuvardhan also won Best Picture.
Veteran actress Asha Parekh was honored for her outstanding contribution to the film industry at the Dadasaheb Phalke IFF Awards 2022. Anupama, a much-loved television show, also won Best Television Series award, while lead actress Rupali Ganguly was named a Promising Actress in Television Series.
