Actor Adivi Sesh, who has been waiting for his upcoming movie ‘Major’ to hit the screens, writes a heartfelt comment on the occasion of Republic Day. As the ‘Kshanam’ actor reflects on the beautiful moments he spent with the parents of 26/11 martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, he shares some photos on his social media handles. Sesh also writes a note about the release issues facing the ‘Major’ team, explaining that he wants the film to come out only if it’s safe for everyone to see it in theaters.
“On this #RepublicDay, I think back to some beautiful moments I spent with #MajorSandeepUnnikrishnan’s parents, @NSG base #Mumbai,” Sesh’s note reads.
The emotional note of the big star Adivi Sesh also reads: “It is important to me that his story is shown in theaters across the country, at a time when it is really safe. No waves that threaten public health.”
“In cities like #Delhi, no theaters are closed. This is what he would want me to feel. Safety. Protection. of his people. From his country. He was always a soldier first. 🙂 I am grateful to have found a place in the hearts of his parents. His family,” Major actor Adivi Sesh wrote, concluding his Republic Day post.

‘Major’ was supposed to hit the screens before but is now being postponed due to the uncertain times of the Covid pandemic.
